So here's the latest scoop... back when I started this blog, I had the idea that I would put together new posts on a weekly basis.... but then, well... I got backed up. We celebrate Hanukkah and somehow the way the calendar ran this year, I found myself trying to prepare for Thanksgiving and Hanukkah and with my bum foot, EVERYTHING takes longer. I can't go to stores that don't have what I lovingly refer to as the Carts of Shame (I do not LIKE the Cart of Shame...) but that's a story for a different day.
So while I was busy going to physical therapy 3 times a week and then doing my physical therapy at home 3 times a day every day AND co-running a martial arts school AND writing resumes AND volunteering at school AND taking care of my kids AND occassionally greeting my husband in passing... I kinda, well ... forgot I had started this. If it wasn't for my cousin Susan, I might have been forgetful stilll.... THANKS for the hint, Sue!
So tonight is the last night of Hanukkah (thank goodness for that) and I did manage to pull off a Thanksgiving miracle (the miracle being that I managed to put together dinner at all, much less dinner for 9) PLUS squeeze my Snausage of a foot into something that almost kinda resembles a shoe... PLUS get a really cute cane (think of it as a REALLY pretty cane and it somehow helps).... and I did get to have the annual Chrismukkah party at my house (another celebration for 14). I think I've been busy enough to justify having not blogged in so long and yet... I have managed to find time to facebook at least every day.
So I'm sorry for ignoring you, dear readers and I promise now that as long as my cousin reminds me, I will update you weekly on the humorous antics and goings on... :) Peace out, Fluffy
